Our Story

How One Spice Mix Became Five Categories

The Spice Cabinet started with a single idea in Nagpur and grew into a five category range because real life refused to stay in one part of the day.

Beginnings

How It Started

It started in a Nagpur kitchen with a simple frustration. The food people wanted to eat took longer than the day allowed, so they either ate something forgettable or ate late. Neither felt like a fair trade.

The first product was a spice mix built to remove the slow part of a dish without removing the taste. It worked, and more importantly it worked repeatedly, which is what convinced us there was a brand here rather than a recipe.

Feedback did the rest. People who bought a spice mix asked about mornings. People who solved mornings asked about desserts. The range grew the way a household actually eats.

The Belief

The Belief That Shaped Everything

Convenience should not cost you the taste of home. Every product decision, every pack size and every ingredient list traces back to that line.

It is also why we say no often. A mix that is faster but tastes thinner does not make the range. A flavour nobody grew up eating does not make the range either. We are not building for speed at the expense of taste.

People do not buy products. They buy back their time. They buy the confidence that it will turn out right. They buy a small win on a busy day.

01

One idea

A single spice mix built so a weeknight curry tasted like a Sunday one.

05

Five categories

Spice, breakfast, bake, drinks and sweets, because a day is not one moment.

02 to 10

People

A small team in Nagpur, building in the open rather than behind a launch date.

In the Open

Building in Public

We share what we are working on while it is still unfinished. New blends, packaging decisions, pricing questions and the products that did not survive testing. It keeps us honest and it keeps the people who cook with us involved.

We do not hide the people behind the brand either. Ayush Tandel is our co-founder and the team is small enough that feedback reaches the person who can act on it. Contact currently routes through LinkedIn and the contact page.

Ahead

What We Are Working Toward

A cabinet a household can rely on for the whole day. Deeper ranges inside all five categories, wider availability beyond Nagpur, clearer labels and pack sizes that suit single people as well as families.

The measure we care about is not shelf count. It is whether someone who used to skip breakfast now eats it, and whether the meal they make in fifteen minutes tastes like the one they remember.

Homemade Taste. Thoughtful Convenience. Zero Compromise.

If you want to be part of what we build next, tell us what your kitchen actually needs.
